In order to try to understand the gift that she had been given Joanne has studied a great many spiritual teachings and philosophies. One of the most interesting to her was the Kabbalah. Kabbalah stems from the Jewish faith and take its name from the Hebrew word ‘Quibel’ meaning oral tradition. Although all religious teachings are, on careful scrutiny, very similar, the Kabbalah effortlessly uncovers the secrets of the universe including creation. It made perfect sense to Joanne. Kabbalah can be interpreted through a symbol called the tree of life, a kind of map of the universe. Joanne is also a student of sacred geometry and found it fascinating that the tree of life fits perfectly within the flower of life (a geometrical blue print for creation) showing how intricately everything is linked. With the tree of life we can break down the universe into sections and discover how it was made, what it does and how it does it. Even find out why! In fact the tree of life can be applied to anything and used to work out its purpose, even us! Through it’s study a soul can find its purpose in life and discover the path to enlightenment and peace. Joanne latched onto this notion immediately and looked at the tree of life as a tool for divination purposes. The bad has the loudest voice, the good whispers. Pay attention to the whispers. ¨ Treat everyone as you would like to be treated. ¨ Never blame anyone or anything for what is wrong in your life. A wise person does not blame, he finds a solution. ¨ We carry with us a mirror, all the negative or positive traits we see in others are a direct reflection of what we are sending out to others. If we want to make change we have to start with ourselves. ¨ The greater the problem, the greater the opportunity to grow spiritually. ¨ We don’t have to suffer, we can enjoy the ride and we always have help when we need it. |
